Tobenna Okunna

Tobenna Okunna has a diverse work experience, primarily in the technology and education sectors. Tobenna is currently working as a Flutter Developer at FloatMe. Prior to this, they worked as an Educator at The LEAGUE of Amazing Programmers. In 2020, Tobenna served as the Lead Engineer at E*Ticket Studio, where they developed web, iOS, and Android apps using Flutter and Dart. At E*Ticket Studio, they also designed and implemented solutions utilizing cloud technologies.

Before that, Tobenna was the CTO and Technical Lead at Bibble App, a platform aimed at improving communication and community among college students and their academic network. Tobenna developed the cross-platform application and designed cloud architecture for serverless deployment at Bibble App. Additionally, Tobenna gained mentorship and won awards while co-founding Bibble App.

Tobenna also has experience as an Engineer Manager at ISAFE Ventures, an Instructor at Hands-On Technology Education, and an iOS Development intern/Creative Code Educator at Outside the Lens. Tobenna started their professional journey as a Conference Coordinator at the University of San Diego, where they organized and coordinated various aspects of clients' visits for sports camps and programs.

Throughout their work experience, Tobenna has demonstrated expertise in programming languages such as Python and Dart, as well as proficiency in utilizing technologies like Flutter, Firebase, Google Firebase APIs, and cloud services such as GCP Firestore and AWS. Tobenna has also shown a strong ability to design user interfaces and prioritize user engagement and retention.

Tobenna Okunna attended the College of the Canyons from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science at the University of San Diego from 2017 to 2020. In June 2018, Tobenna also obtained a certification in Java from SoloLearn.
