Addison Shaw is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer with a strong background in large, distributed systems and web development. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Flock Safety since January 2022, Addison has progressed from a Senior Software Engineer role at Cerner Corporation, where responsibilities included extensive use of Java and C++ across various architectures. Prior experience includes development work at X-Lab KC focused on NodeJS, and an internship at Cerner, where Addison gained skills in debugging and SQL database management. Addison holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Kansas State University, obtained in 2015.
