Michael Hourie

Michael H. has a strong background in finance and strategy, with experience in various industries. Michael is currently the Vice President of Finance at Flodesk since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Corteva Agriscience as the Director of Finance from an unspecified start date in 2020 until November 2021. Michael began their career in finance at Amazon in 2008, where they were a Senior Finance Manager for the Zappos business unit. During their time at Amazon, they led the finance strategy and marketing analytics team, supporting the rapid growth of the business unit.

Prior to joining Amazon, Michael worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at KB Home from 2004 to 2008, where they focused on detailed forecasting and guided resource allocation and cost savings for the Fortune 500 residential developer.

Michael H. has studied at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where they pursued a degree in Business with a specialization in Finance. Additionally, they attended the UNLV Lee Business School to obtain an MBA, focusing on New Venture Management. No specific start or end years were provided for either of these educational experiences.
