John Rooney

John Rooney serves as the Managing Director of Flogas Ireland since August 2014, overseeing a subsidiary of DCC plc that provides various energy solutions across Ireland. Previously, John held the position of Managing Director at Johnston Mooney & O'Brien from February 2011 to July 2014, where emphasis was placed on the bread and baked goods markets. Experience includes a tenure as Chief Executive in Dublin for The Brand Union and Y&R Advertising from July 2007 to February 2011, managing significant brand strategies and identities. Earlier roles encompassed General Manager and Marketing Director for the Campbell Soup Company in Ireland from March 2003 to June 2007, during which John was involved in major product launches and business integration. Additional experience includes positions at Kellogg Company and Jacob's Biscuits. John Rooney holds a Commerce degree from University College Dublin, attained in 1989.
