Marie Debbink

Marie Debbink has a diverse range of work experience. Marie is currently working at Floify as a Project Manager, starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Customer Support Specialist at Floify from October 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Floify, Marie worked at Apple for several years. Their roles at Apple included Health Support Specialist from August 2020 to October 2021, Team Manager Apprentice from January 2016 to October 2021, Social Response Senior Advisor from February 2016 to August 2020, and AppleCare At-Home Advisor from November 2012 to February 2016.

Marie also gained experience at the Milwaukee Public Museum as a Visitor's Assistant from December 2012 to August 2013, where they educated visitors about museum history and exhibition information while enforcing museum rules and patrolling museum floors.

Additionally, Marie worked at URS as a Junior Field Technician on the Enbridge-Flanagan South pipeline project in Missouri from April 2012 to September 2012. Their responsibilities included surveying, digging shovel test pits, identifying artifacts, and assisting with paperwork and cataloguing.

Marie's earlier work experience includes volunteering at the Minnesota Historical Society for a short period in February 2012. Marie also served as a Volunteer Translator at the Institute of Archaeology Chinese Academy of Social Sciences from February 2011 to March 2012, translating articles from Chinese to English.

Furthermore, Marie worked as a Field Technician at Two Pines Resource Group for a month in October 2011. Their tasks included surveying phase I projects, digging shovel tests, mapping, screening, and cleaning and sorting artifacts. Marie also conducted research at the State Historical Preservation Office and the Minnesota Historical Society.

Marie's earliest work experience was as an ESL Teacher at Glory English Center from October 2010 to June 2011. As an ESL Teacher, they prepared class materials, designed lesson plans, and instructed students in various aspects of the English language.

Marie Debbink completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, they attended UCLA's Sino-American Field School of Archaeology for a period of one year to further specialize in Archaeology. Additionally, in 2010, they completed a program in Archaeology at Caves Branch Archaeological School.
