Cole Erickson

Cole Erickson has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Cole is currently working at Floodbase as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead, where they specialize in building tools for flood risk analytics and flood emergency response using Python, TypeScript, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform. Prior to this, Cole worked at Facebook as a Software Engineer, focusing on static analysis for computer security. Cole contributed code in languages like C++, OCaml, Python, Hack, and JavaScript. Cole also had previous internships at Facebook, where they worked on C++ distributed systems and storage infrastructure, as well as on React and Ruby on Rails development for a K-12 education initiative. Additionally, Cole had an internship at Seagate Technology, where they worked on Drive Reliability Test Development.

Cole Erickson started their education by enrolling as a full-time student at the University of Minnesota in 2012. Cole was part of the Minnesota's PSEO program and completed their 11th and 12th grade education there. In 2014, Cole moved on to Williams College, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Cole completed their studies at Williams College in 2018.
