Luke Pearce has worked in the tech industry since 2010, starting with a role as a Retail Sales Demonstrator at Gekko Field Marketing. In 2010, they also began working for Track Consulting as a Technical Support, designing, creating and updating the company's brochure, website, and other documentation templates and presentations, as well as providing technical support and server management. In 2013, Pearce joined Happy Giraffe as a Designer & Front-end Developer, leading projects from initial concept explorations through to writing production code. Luke also worked as a Freelance Designer and Developer from 2012 to 2014, designing and building complete sites for a range of companies and individuals, and developing bespoke Craft CMS & Craft Commerce plugins written in PHP. Pearce then worked at Ten4 Design from 2014 to 2017 as a Developer, developing on Craft CMS using PHP, building portfolio sites, interactive applications and eCommerce sites, and representing the development team at client meetings. Finally, Pearce held the roles of Lead Engineer, Full Stack Engineer, and Front-end Engineer at Floom from 2017 to present.
Luke Pearce attended Nottingham Trent University from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design. Prior to that, they attended the University of South Wales from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design in Graphic Design.
