John Payne

John Payne has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. John most recently served as the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Floor & Decor since December 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Director of FP&A and Business Unit Finance at the same company from January 2021 to December 2022. Before joining Floor & Decor, John was the Director of Finance Store Operations from December 2017 to December 2020. John also worked as an Accounting Manager from April 2014 to November 2017 and as a Senior Accounting Analyst from October 2013 to April 2014 at Floor & Decor. Prior to joining Floor & Decor, John worked as a Senior Accountant for Financial Reporting at American Safety Insurance from May 2012 to October 2013. John also gained auditing experience at Porter Keadle Moore, LLP, where they worked as an Associate Auditor from January 2010 to April 2012 and as a Staff Auditor from September 2008 to December 2009.

John Payne completed their education at the University of Mississippi. From 2003 to 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting. John later pursued a Master's degree in Accounting from the same university, completing it in 2008. Additionally, John obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Georgia State Board of Accountancy in 2014.
