Established in 1985, FloorMax has been dedicated to serving customers throughout the DC Metro and Maryland suburbs for almost forty years. We continue to succeed where others have failed because of our deep-rooted commitment to exceptional customer service and a passion for quality. We’re available when our clients and customers need to upgrade from standard to premium flooring, ceramics, & tiles, need quick installation options, need a quick next-day flooring fix, need expert product knowledge, and exceptional care in any home residence, with any flooring restoration & insurance claim, or even with a full bathroom remodel. At the heart of our operation lies our central DC metro warehouse, a hub that houses millions of square feet of sought-after flooring and ceramic inventory. This allows us to offer retail and commercial clients a deep product catalog.

As a family-owned business, we take immense pride in our customer service obsession. Our customers are why we have succeeded for so long and why multiple generations of families count on us to remodel and upgrade their floors. Our team is obsessed with ensuring clients receive personalized attention, expert guidance, and design advice throughout their flooring journey. At every FloorMax location, customers receive the same first-class experience from our store managers down to our floor sales consultants. The flooring installation process is not complete without our customer care and installation teams who possess deep industry knowledge and experience not available at other retailers.

There’s a reason FloorMax has 4.9 stars across Google and Yelp reviews – it’s because we put customers first and remain driven to deliver an excellent experience to our residential and commercial clients.

Whether you're enhancing your home or elevating your commercial space, FloorMax is here to exceed your expectations.
