John Shaw

John Shaw is an accomplished musician with extensive experience in percussion performance and education. Serving as the Principal Percussionist for both the Eastern Music Festival since June 2008 and The Florida Orchestra since September 1992, Shaw has established a significant presence in the music community. Additionally, Shaw holds the position of Adjunct Percussion Professor at St. Petersburg College since August 1996, contributing to the development of aspiring musicians. Shaw earned a Master's degree in Music Performance from Temple University, where studies were completed from 1988 to 1990, and a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Florida State University from 1984 to 1988.
