Kim Downs currently serves as the Onshore Environmental and Heritage Lead for Flotation Energy, overseeing the environmental survey program and the development of environmental planning and regulatory approvals for the Seadragon Offshore Wind project. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Impact Assessor and an Impact Assessor at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, as well as a Project Manager at the Environment Protection Authority Victoria. Additional positions held include Senior Zoologist at Monarc Environmental and Zoologist at Ecology and Heritage Partners. Kim began a career in environmental administration as an Administrative Assistant at Armidale Dumaresq Council and served as a University Demonstrator at the University of New England. Academic credentials include a PhD candidacy focused on the conservation of small mammals and a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Wollongong.
