Steven Murphy is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in project finance and financial modeling, currently serving as a Financial Modeller at Flotation Energy since July 2023. Prior to this role, Steven was the Lead Financial and Commercial Analyst at SSE Renewables, where management of complex financial models for the world’s largest offshore wind farm project showcased strong analytical skills. A notable tenure at PwC UK included roles as a Senior Associate in both Valuations and Assurance, demonstrating expertise in valuations for various purposes and leading external audits internationally. Previous experience in Shell as a Holdings & Treasury Accountant further solidified capabilities in financial analysis and control. Academic qualifications include a BAcc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Glasgow and various certifications such as Prince2.

Our existing portfolio of projects in development includes fixed bottom offshore windfarms (480MW Morecambe; 1200 MW Greystones; 1,500 MW Seadragon) and floating offshore windfarms (100MW White Cross, 1,500 MW Blackwater and up to 500 MW Green Volt).
