Bennett Adams

Bennet Adams is the current Chief Technology Officer at Flourish Software. Bennet has been with the company since January 2019 and in their current role since September 2021. Prior to their current position, they served as the CIO for Flourish Software and as the Lead Front-End Software Developer. Bennet has also worked for WMSight and Agillitics. At Agillitics, they were a Technical Consultant and was the lead developer on a web application featuring visualizations of supply-chain data and analytics. Bennet has also attended General Assembly where they learned full-stack web development. During their time at General Assembly, they built four apps: ElevATL (elevatl.herokuapp.com), an Atlanta-centric data app built in AngularJS on Rails, featuring D3.js data visualizations; Locative (locative.herokuapp.com), which plots users' Instagram posts on a Leaflet map and optionally draws a route between the points to create a journey, also AngularJS on Rails; TweetHeart (peaceful-inlet-4447.herokuapp.com/), which sentiment analyzes the most recent tweets about a given search term, built in Ruby on Rails; and Chef-U (chefu.herokuapp.com), a static recipe website built in Ruby on Rails just three weeks into the course.

Bennet Adams graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia. Bennet then went on to get a certification from Udemy in Certificate of Completion: Learn to Build AngularJS Custom Directives with Dan Wahlin.
