Alastair Mitchell

Alastair Mitchell has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Since 2017, they have been a Partner & Co-Head at EQT Ventures, a multi-stage VC fund where they focus on investing in early and scale-stage B2B, Software, Marketplaces, and Climate/DeepTech companies. Alastair helps these companies achieve product-market fit and scale their go-to-market internationally. Alastair started serving as a Board Director at Handshake in September 2018 and at ViridiCO2 Ltd. in February 2023. In June 2018, they became a Board Director at Beamery and Permutive, where they also led the Series A as an angel investor. Additionally, Alastair holds Board Director positions at Let's Do This, Unmind, Standard Cognition, The Engineering Company, and Tinyclues, which they started in different years.

Alastair Mitchell completed their high school education at St. Albans School from 1990 to 1995. Alastair then pursued their higher studies at the University of Southampton, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in MEng in Ship Science (Naval Architecture) from 1996 to 2000.
