Scott Ryder

Scott Ryder currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Flow, focusing on addressing high rental costs and their broader social impacts. Alongside this role, Scott is an advisor at Honor Education, contributing to technical and engineering culture on the advisory board. Previously, as Head of Consumer Engineering at WhatsApp within Meta, Scott supported the development of applications for over 2 billion users worldwide. Scott's experience extends to Netflix, where as Director of Mobile Streaming, core platform and streaming technologies were developed, and to Barnes & Noble Education, where as GM of Yuzu, a successful eLearning platform was built. Notable earlier roles at Apple included various director-level positions that contributed to iCloud integration and digital applications development. Scott began a career at Sun Microsystems, focusing on Java-based applications, and started at Apple with presentations and network solutions for K-12 education. Education includes an AB in History from Princeton University.
