Jalen Bigej

Jalen Bigej's work experience includes roles at multiple companies over the years. Jalen started working at The Santa Fe Opera in 2010 as a Team Leader in House Management and continued in that role until 2011. In 2012, they worked at Balcones Country Club as an Evening Dishwasher and Kitchen Staff, where they were responsible for washing, drying, and sorting dishes, as well as assisting in the kitchen. In 2014, they became an Independent Sales Contractor at Vantage Marketing, where they were contracted by Terminix pest control as a sales and contract manager. Their responsibilities included door-to-door sales, follow-ups, and managing customer complaints. Since 2017, Jalen has been working at Flow Loop, starting as the Chief Technical Officer and later transitioning to the role of Lead Product Engineer in July 2020.

Jalen Bigej's education history begins in 2011 when they attended Mt. Hood Community College for pre-Mechanical Engineering. Jalen then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Oregon State University from 2012 to 2016. In 2013 and 2014, Jalen participated in a study abroad program at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, focusing on Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energies. In terms of additional certifications, Jalen obtained a Lean Management certification from Simplilearn in July 2016, along with a Fundamental of Engineering Mechanical certification from NCEES in the same month and year. Currently, Jalen is in progress of obtaining a Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt certification.
