John Maroney

John Maroney is an experienced engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and project management within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Flow Power since May 2021, John has previously held roles at UGL and Laing O'Rourke, where responsibilities included managing commissioning processes for a 75MW solar farm and collaborating with key stakeholders. Prior experience at RCR Tomlinson involved testing and commissioning high voltage electrical assets for a 200MW solar farm. Additionally, John has a foundation in financial planning, having worked as a Senior Paraplanner at Back to Back Financial Planners, contributing to the firm's recognition as Most Trusted Adviser of the Year in 2014. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from UNSW and a Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional.
