Pedro Rivera is an FPGA Engineer at Flow Traders since April 2022, following a brief stint as a Security Research Apprentice at Sigma Prime. Previously, during a tenure at ETAS NI Systems, Pedro led the transfer of National Instruments' hardware development process to a Joint Venture and developed an electric vehicle charging station emulator for HiL test systems. As a Staff Digital Hardware Engineer and earlier as a Digital Hardware Engineer at National Instruments from 2015 to 2019, Pedro focused on designing FPGA logic for advanced signal acquisition hardware and synchronization across devices. An early career included digital engineering internships and a role in designing test solutions for LED validation at Prettl Electric del Bajio. Pedro holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and completed a summer course in Network Security at Boston University.
