Evgeny Barhatov

Evgeny Barhatov has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Evgeny is currently the Head of Data at Flow48 since 2022. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager (Data) at Crunchyroll.

From 2014 to 2017, Evgeny served as a Software Engineering Team Lead at Yopeso, where they were involved in various projects including R&D projects at carpooling.com, the launch of SAS openproject.org, and working on Mixbook. Evgeny utilized technologies such as Postgres, Ruby, ROR, PHP (Symphony), PostgreSQL, PostGIS, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Redis, and Microservices.

Before Yopeso, from 2010 to 2014, Evgeny was an IT Director and Co-owner of a B2C web project at a start-up, where they contributed their expertise in system architecture and design decisions on software and cloud services.

Prior to their start-up venture, from 2006 to 2010, Evgeny worked at Web Merchants, Inc. as a Branch Executive Director. Evgeny was responsible for developing and supporting entertainment and e-commerce solutions, where they also made system architecture decisions. Evgeny also served as a Database and Web Engineer at the company from 2003 to 2006.

In the early stages of their career, from 2000 to 2003, Evgeny worked as a Freelance Programmer, where they developed projects such as a stock-taking system in a network of shops and a production records system in a network of restaurants.

Additionally, Evgeny worked as a Teacher at The Academy of Informatization "Viitcomp-Electronic" from 2000 to 2003, showcasing their passion for sharing their knowledge and expertise in the field.

Evgeny Barhatov completed their education from 1999 to 2003 at Moldavian State University, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Physics and Computer Science.
