Jelle Schoppink serves as the Chief Technology Officer at FlowBeams, a company dedicated to developing a needle-free injection platform, with involvement stemming from doctoral research under the guidance of a co-founder. Previously, Jelle worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Twente, where a contract extension followed the completion of a PhD, including a two-week research visit at Harvard Medical School focusing on optical coherence tomography. The PhD was completed within the BuBble-Gun project, supervised by Professor David Fernandez Rivas. Additional research experiences include a brief position as a visiting PhD researcher at EPFL, where experiments on pulsed laser-actuated jet injection were conducted, and an internship as an undergraduate student researcher at Aalto University, exploring water-lubricated rafts on superhydrophobic surfaces. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MS in Applied Physics, as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same field, all obtained from the University of Twente.
