Flower Chef was founded on an idea by Jules Houser, a renowned American chef who redefined in Italy the very concept of pasta. Award-winning and specialized in plant-based cuisine, she has cooked for over 100,000 people throughout her career – from the Santa Barbara wine region to New York City, from Hollywood to Las Vegas, from the US Pacific Northwest to Canada – serving celebrities, diplomats, and travelers from around the world.

Her journey started for necessity. After overcoming breast cancer, she eliminated gluten from her diet and began searching for a pasta that was delicious, complete, and nutritionally superior. Unable to find what she was looking for, she created it herself, here in Italy. Working together with food engineering experts and expert pasta makers, she spent two years perfecting a high-protein, gluten-free flour blend that innovates tradition while preserving its soul.
