Christian Schelander has a diverse work experience in various industries. Christian started their career in 2012 at IKEA Group, where they worked as a Customer Relations representative for nearly six years. In 2018, they interned at The Winning Combination as a Supply Chain Intern, focusing on production scheduling, procurement, and logistics. Christian then worked at The World Trade Center Winnipeg as an Assistant Business Advisor for eight months in 2019. Later that year, they briefly served as a Vendor Compliance Coordinator at Cabela's. From 2020 to 2023, Christian worked at Manitoba Hydro International, first as a Training and Event Coordinator, and then as a Project Manager. Currently, they are a Project Developer at Flower ⚡, starting in April 2023.
Christian Schelander completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in International Business and Supply Chain Management from the University of Manitoba from 2017 to 2020. Prior to this, Christian studied Business Administration and Management, General at Red River College Polytechnic from 2015 to 2017.

Flower operates a Power Refinery - a hardware agnostic platform that connects flexibility assets with buyers of flexibility. We integrate with flexibility assets, collect metering values and can actively manage their power profiles, we prognose available flexibility and decide in which markets and at what price flexibility will be offered. We runprojects within light and heavy EV charging, energy storage, hydropower, solar power and heating. We aim to offer ancillary services and participate in capacity markets. Flower's mission is to drastically increase available flexibility to support the renewable electrification of everything.
