Emil Rundgren has a diverse work experience, starting in 2016 with a summer employment as a Product Developer at Sensavis, where they focused on designing visualizations for a digital education platform. In 2017, they joined Saab as a Master Thesis Student, working on developing a system for automatic volume estimation of timber. Later that year, they worked as an Embedded Software Developer at ALTEN Sweden, participating in two in-house projects, including building an arcade machine from scratch.

In 2017, Emil joined AFRY as an Operative Product Owner at Ericsson, where they were responsible for managing two teams developing embedded software for Massive MIMO 5G radios. Emil also worked as an Embedded Software Developer in the same company, where they developed control features and improved test coverage for uplink signal chains.

Emil also had part-time roles at DeLaval and Atlas Copco as an Embedded Software Developer. At DeLaval, they developed a traffic simulator for cows in large automated farm installations, while at Atlas Copco, they participated in a pre-study of power tool equipment products. Emil ended up winning the development assignment for AFRY through this pre-study.

Emil's earlier experience includes working as a Scrum Master and Embedded Software Developer at Ericsson, where they were involved in developing the next-generation test tool for Ericsson 5G radio units.

In 2023, Emil joined Flower ⚡ as a Product Owner.

Emil Rundgren pursued their education from 2012 to 2017 at Linköping University. During this period, they obtained an Engineer's degree in the field of Biomedical Engineering.

Flower operates a Power Refinery - a hardware agnostic platform that connects flexibility assets with buyers of flexibility. We integrate with flexibility assets, collect metering values and can actively manage their power profiles, we prognose available flexibility and decide in which markets and at what price flexibility will be offered. We runprojects within light and heavy EV charging, energy storage, hydropower, solar power and heating. We aim to offer ancillary services and participate in capacity markets. Flower's mission is to drastically increase available flexibility to support the renewable electrification of everything.
