Ian Skerrett

Ian Skerrett has extensive experience in marketing and consulting. Ian is currently the Head of Marketing at FlowForge since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Advisor at Ian Skerrett Consulting in 2022. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Vice President of Marketing at HiveMQ, leading the marketing strategy and execution. Ian also worked as a Consultant at Ian Skerrett Consulting from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they were the Vice President of Marketing at Eclipse Foundation, responsible for marketing planning, branding, and community development for the Eclipse community. Ian held the position from 2004 to 2018. Ian also gained experience in product management and marketing at Klocwork, Entrust Inc., IBM, and Object Technology International.

Ian Skerrett obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Carleton University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued an MBA from McGill University from 1990 to 1992.
