Kris Collins has a long and varied work experience. From 1996 to 2005, they worked as a Network Technician at the University of Colorado Boulder. From 2005 to 2008, they were the Director of Engineering at Ocutronics LLC, where they architected and programmed Atmel ATTiny series microprocessors using C language, designed and received a patent for an algorithm for biometric identification through blood vessel structure, and developed a Windows app using Visual Studio for integrating with and controlling retinal camera hardware device. From 2008 to 2015, they were the Director of Innovation at Factory Design Labs, where they were the lead iOS developer on high profile projects for Audi, The North Face, Callaway Golf, Vans, Wolf SubZero and more, collaborated extensively with design and strategy teams to invent effective integrated campaigns, and implemented award winning user interfaces as well as building 3D graphical experiences in OpenGL. Since 2018, they have been an Engineering Manager at Flowhub. From 2015 to 2018, they were self-employed as a Freelance Engineer, where they architected, developed and launched successful iOS products, worked with a wide variety of clients and industries, and created new apps from scratch as well as performing maintenance on existing projects (Swift and Objective-C).

Kris Collins attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1997 to 2005, where they earned a Mathematics degree with a focus on Analytic Geometry, Probability, and DSP. They also completed coursework in Mathematics at the University of Colorado Boulder.
