Mark Hengel

Mark Hengel has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering industry since 2005. Mark began their career as a UI Engineer and QA Engineer at Local Matters. From 2012 to 2017, they were a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Placeable. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Software Engineer at i3logix, Inc., where they were responsible for migrating an old EXT.js product to a new React application. Most recently, they have been a Senior Front-end Engineer at Flowhub Cannabis Dispensary Software since 2019, helping design, estimate, plan, build, test, and support their "back off house" using React, Redux, Sagas, Styled-components, and koa.

Mark Hengel graduated from Colorado State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Computer Information Systems.
