Colin Bricken has a long and varied work experience. Colin began their career in 1994 as a Principal Virtual World Architect for Virtual Express Ltd. Colin then moved on to Multicom Publishing, Inc. as Lead Multimedia Programmer in 1995. That same year, they also became Director of Software Development for eChannel, Inc., where they created Digital Leverage, a graphical IDE for J2EE applications. In 2002, they founded Waterhouse Media and created eyePages, a desktop application for publishing online photo galleries. In 2003, they became Lead SDE at GameHouse, Inc., where they wrote code for an online store, membership messaging service, and affiliate site customization. In 2004, they joined RealNetworks, Inc. as Director Online Games Studio, where they built the GameHouse Games Social Studio and grew and lead a team of 20+. From 2010-2011, they were a Flash Developer at DreamBox Learning, where they wrote AS3 code for adaptive online educational software. From 2011-2013, they were Senior Game Developer at PopCap Games, where they wrote Flash/AS3 code for Bejeweled Blitz and Solitaire Blitz on Facebook. Finally, from 2013-present, they have been Principle Software Engineer and Senior Game Developer at FlowPlay.

Colin Bricken attended UC Santa Barbara from 1988 to 1990, where they earned a BA in Studio Arts. Colin then transferred to the University of Washington from 1990 to 1992, where they earned a BA in Digital Art.
