Boris Lyeonov

Senior Product Design Engineer, Lead Product Engineer at Flowserve

Boris Lyeonov, P.E. has extensive work experience in engineering. Boris started their career as an intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in 2000. Later, they joined Flowserve Corporation in 2007, where they held multiple roles. From 2007 to 2011, Boris worked as an Order Engineer, providing engineering support to manufacturing and designing centrifugal pump assembly components. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Product Design Engineer, where they evaluated components, analyzed shaft deflection, and created engineering design standards for centrifugal pumps. In 2014, Boris became a Senior Product Design Engineer and Lead Product Engineer at Flowserve Corporation, responsible for providing engineering support and training, reviewing and approving manufacturing drawings, and calculating impeller diameters to meet customer requirements.

Boris Lyeonov, P.E. earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland in the years 2001 to 2006. Boris has also obtained various certifications, including a Six Sigma Black Belt from Flowserve Corporation in 2014, Lean Practitioner in 2014, Professional Engineer from the State of Maryland in 2013, and a CIP Green Belt from Flowserve Corporation in 2009.
