Currently serving as a Vertriebsspezialist at Flowserve Corporation since January 2019, Joachim previously held the position of Leiter Vertrieb at Flowserve SIHI (Schweiz) GmbH from May 2006 to September 2025, and worked as a Vertriebsingenieur at Milton Roy GmbH, SERO Pumpenfabrik GmbH, and Sterling Fluid Systems (Schweiz) AG. Early in his career, Joachim gained experience as an Ingenieur im Bereich Produkt- und Programmaufgaben at KSB AG from 1993 to December 1994. Academic qualifications include a Diplom in Wirtschaftsingenieur from Fachhochschule Ludwigshafen and a Diplom in Flugzeugbau from Fachhochschule Aachen.
