Stephen Ide

Stephen Ide is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and business management. Currently serving as a Senior Pumps Design Engineer at Flowserve Corporation since June 2022, Stephen specializes in magnetic drive industrial pumps for the chemical industry. Previously, as Engineering Manager at Dorman Products for over 12 years, Stephen led multiple teams in the development of more than 600 aftermarket automotive and heavy-duty truck parts. Additional experience includes roles at Victaulic as Technical Manager and Project Manager, where Stephen managed design and development projects for fire sprinkler systems, and at Kidde Fire Fighting as Manager of Engineering, overseeing the engineering department and its budget. Stephen began a career in engineering at FM Global as an Approvals and Loss Prevention Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from DeSales University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
