Afify Afify is a Quality Assurance Section Head at FLSmidth with extensive experience in welding and NDT consulting, having previously held positions as a Welding and NDT Consultant and Fabrication & Inspection Manager at Reliance Heavy Industries. They began their career as a Research Assistant at the Central Metallurgical Research and Development Institute, where they worked in a welding research center and conducted inspections for various government projects. Afify also served as the Head of the Welding Department at asec-ARESCO, overseeing all welding activities and ensuring quality standards. They hold a degree in Physics and Computer Science from Ain Shams University.
