Arto Halonen currently serves as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain at FLSmidth since September 2025. Prior to this role, Halonen was the Chief Executive Officer at Robit Plc from April 2020 to September 2025, after previously holding the positions of CFO and COO. Halonen's extensive experience at Metso spanned from January 2013 to March 2020, where titles included Vice President of Crushers, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for the Flow Control business area, and Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing for the Metal Recycling business line. Additionally, Halonen held various leadership roles focusing on sales, pricing strategy, and project management within Metso from May 2005 to December 2012. Halonen earned a Master of Science in Industrial Management from Tampere University of Technology and a Master of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Tampere. An academic exchange experience took place at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
