Ben Sayer

Ben Sayer is an experienced professional currently serving as Capital Sales Manager for PCV APAC at FLSmidth since November 2025. Prior to this role, Ben was with idoba from May 2019 to October 2025, holding various titles including Head of Solution Delivery and Associate Director for Sandpit Innovation. Ben's extensive background includes significant positions at BHP, where responsibilities ranged from acting Head of Integrated Planning to Principal roles in Improvement Delivery and Logistics. Additionally, Ben has experience with Rio Tinto as Manager of Mine Services and in multiple roles focused on business improvement and capacity assurance. Initial career steps included managerial and engineering positions at Were Estate and Krebs Engineers, as well as a brief internship at Pasminco Pty Ltd. Ben holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Business Administration from RMIT University, along with a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from MIT Sloan School of Management.
