Kevin Hamblin

Kevin Hamblin, P.E. is an accomplished Product Engineer at FLSmidth since February 2018, specializing in the design of automated filter presses for mineral processing and creating the world’s largest filter plates, capable of withstanding significant internal forces. Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Engineer at Boart Longyear, where Kevin was the principal inventor of a pipe lifting and handling tool, and as an Engineering Intern at Dupont Authentication, where Kevin designed automated equipment for producing security verification holograms while adhering to Six Sigma and Lean principles. Early in the career, Kevin also interned at Performance Design, contributing to the design of playground equipment and holding the title of principal inventor for a swing design. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University, earned in 2008.
