Mohamed Afifi

Mohamed Afifi currently serves as the Group Travel Security Manager for People & Sustainability/Group HSEQ at FLSmidth since January 2023, after holding the position of Egypt Security Manager at the same company from January 2017 to November 2022. Prior to joining FLSmidth, Mohamed worked as the Egypt Security Manager for NLSupervision Company A/S from July 2014 to November 2022, responsible for security tasks at various operational sites. Mohamed's extensive career in the Egyptian police spanned from July 1992 to November 2015, culminating in the role of Colonel Officer and head of Investigations for the Dokki & Agouza district in Giza, where numerous investigative and leadership positions were held across multiple districts. Mohammed holds a Bachelor of Law and Police Sciences from the Police Academy in Egypt, as well as diplomas in International Security Management and Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH.
