Rolando Zanella is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Aftermarket Engineering for NAMER at FLSmidth since March 2023. Previously, Rolando held various positions at thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions Inc. (Canada), advancing from Mechanical Designer to Mechanical Equipment Lead, and ultimately to Chief Mechanical Engineer from October 2015 until February 2023. Prior to that, Rolando worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Robert Bosch GmbH and as an Associate Researcher at the Institute of Machine Tools and Manufacturing. Rolando holds an EPF Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.
