Sergey Gorbunov

Sergey Gorbunov is an experienced professional with a strong background in sales and management within the mining and drilling sectors. Currently serving as Sales Area Director for the Northern Region APAC at FLSmidth since November 2014, Sergey also holds titles as Managing Director and Head of Site & Service Sales for the ECANA Region. Prior roles include Aftermarket Development Manager at Corum Group and Zone Asset & Fleet Manager at Boart Longyear, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing extensive drilling operations in Russia and Kazakhstan. Sergey previously contributed to the Kazakhmys Metallurgical Complex as Chief of Support Division and Provision Manager, focusing on maintenance, inventory management, and supply chain optimization. Initial experience was gained at DeltaLeasing as a Technical Engineer. Sergey possesses a Master's degree in Management and an MBA in Operations Management from RANEPA, along with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Novosibirsk State Technical University.
