Steen Helles serves as the Head of IT at FLSmidth since October 2025 and is a member of IDC's European Digital Advisory Board. Previously, Steen held the role of Transformation Advisor and Head of Group Data Transformation at Semler Gruppen A/S from 2019 to 2025, contributing to digital transformation for Denmark's largest car importer and retailer. Steen has extensive experience in FLSmidth, where roles included Digital Project Director and Program Manager, overseeing significant digital transformation initiatives. Prior experiences encompass serving as Group CIO/Group COO and Board Member at Ikano Group, and CIO and Director of IT at Maersk Tankers. Steen holds degrees in Computer Sciences from the University of Copenhagen and Organization from Copenhagen Business School.
