Timur Usenov serves as the Head of Field Service Engineers for FLSmidth, responsible for P&L and enhancing field service operations across the Asia Pacific region since May 2025. Prior to this role, Timur was a Project Manager at Kumtor, where project development in the mining and gold recovery sectors was overseen from June 2021 to May 2025. From 2015 to 2025, Timur held the position of CTO at the Autonomous Cluster Fund “Innovative Technology Park” in Kazakhstan, focusing on software development and business intelligence for the mining and metallurgical industry. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Kumtor Gold Company and several consulting positions that emphasized maintenance strategy and planning in various organizations. Timur holds an Engineer's Degree in Operation and Maintenance of Equipment and Machinery from K. Tynystanov Issyk-Kul State University.
