Michiel van Dam

Michiel van Dam has extensive experience in the lighting industry, holding various leadership positions at renowned companies such as Philips and Signify. Notably, Michiel served as Director of Commercial Operations at Philips Elmet from 1997 to 2001, followed by roles including GM for the Solid State Lighting Business Unit and VP of Marketing for BG Lamps at Philips Lighting. Michiel's leadership continued with positions at Fluence as CEO and at Signify as SVP for both Agricultural Lighting and Conventional Lamps. Throughout a career spanning several decades, Michiel has developed expertise in product management, marketing, and general management, underpinned by a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
