John Webster

John Webster serves as the Associate Director of Legal at FLUENT, a vertically integrated cannabis company. Prior to this role, John was the Director of Legal and External Affairs at RIV Capital Inc., which merged with FLUENT in December 2024. John was previously an associate at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, focusing on corporate law, mergers, and acquisitions, while also providing regulatory advice in the cannabis sector. Earlier in their career, John worked as the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Mayor of Toronto and as an intern at Navigator Ltd. John holds degrees from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law and St. Francis Xavier University.
