Dan Barsky is the General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Secretary at Fluent, Inc. Dan has over fifteen years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on public companies. Dan has represented companies in a variety of industries, including retail, e-commerce, technology, and manufacturing.

Dan began their career as a corporate attorney at Hanover Direct, where they served as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary. During their time at Hanover Direct, Dan was a key member of the senior management team and provided legal, business, and strategic advice to the CEO, Board of Directors, and executive team. Dan also managed the legal staff and outside law firms handling litigation, intellectual property, and complex transactions. In addition, they assumed responsibility for all senior and mezzanine loan agreements and structured, negotiated, and lawyered several material agreements for operating subsidiaries. Under their leadership, the company saved over $1.8 million in annual legal expenses by bringing the outside corporate legal function in-house and effectively managing in-house resources. Dan also successfully orchestrated a unique going-private transaction and saved over $500,000 by securing indemnification for the company in a patent infringement action.

In 2008, Dan joined Fluent as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, they are responsible for all legal matters related to the company, including corporate governance, compliance, litigation, contracts, real estate, employment law, and intellectual property

Dan Barsky has a LLM in Tax from New York University School of Law, a JD in Commercial, corporate, tax & busines law from University of Miami School of Law, and a BBA in Finance from The George Washington University.

Dan Barsky reports to Ryan Schulke, CEO & Founder. They work with Maggie Miller - VP, Technical Product Management, Sean Cullen - EVP, Product & Technology, and Melanie Murphy - SVP of Analytics.
