Daniel S. has worked in a variety of positions since 2015. Daniel began their career at Universidad EAFIT, where they served as a System Administrator. In this role, they were responsible for the maintenance of the cluster's hardware and software, providing support to scientists, and programming utility tools with Python and Bash. Daniel also worked on the design and implementation of APOLO II, EAFIT's second supercomputer. In 2017, Daniel S. began working as an IT Intern at EurekaFacts. In this role, they optimized the company's processes by collecting requirements and programming software with C# and Python. Daniel also designed and implemented a Microsoft SharePoint site for migrating and standardizing the company's data and workflows. Currently, Daniel S. is working as a Staff Product Engineer at Fluid Attacks. In this role, they are ensuring 24/7 availability for multiple applications hosted on the cloud, allowing for deployment more than 20 times per day without service availability loss. Daniel is also responsible for the design and implementation of Continuous Integration/deployment in order to ensure fast development speed and high quality code.
Daniel S. graduated from Universidad EAFIT in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Daniel also holds additional certifications, such as the DevSecOps: Workshop from Fluid Attacks obtained in 2022, the EF SET English Certificate 86/100 (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test (EF SET) obtained in 2019, and the Cluster Building for Scientific Computing from Universidad EAFIT obtained in 2015.
