Andrew Hudson

Senior Development Engineer; Co-Founder at FluidForm

Andrew Hudson has been involved in a range of roles in the engineering industry since 2013. In 2013, they were a 3D Bioprinting Researcher at RWTH Aachen University, where they participated in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program and tested and refined a novel technique for building cellularized gel constructs using 3D printers. In 2014, they became a F.R.E.S.H. 3D Bioprinting Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, where they researched the development of an innovative 3D hydrogel printing technique. In 2018, they began a PhD program at Carnegie Mellon University's College of Engineering and also co-founded FluidForm, where they have served as both Senior Development Engineer and COO.

Andrew Hudson obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2015, following a Bachelor of Materials Science and Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2014.
