Matthew Alton Mbcs

Matthew Alton MBCS is a Forward Deployed Engineer at Fluidstack since May 2025, with extensive experience in high-performance computing (HPC) and systems engineering. Previously, Matthew served as Research and Development Lead at OCF Limited from June 2017 to May 2025, managing a team focused on the development and maintenance of HPC management software, OCF Steel Stack. Earlier roles at OCF included HPC Systems Engineer - Compute & Development, where responsibilities involved designing and supporting HPC solutions, and HPC Systems Engineer, focusing on transforming concepts into functional systems. Matthew also freelanced as a Sound Engineer from January 2012 to December 2019 and held multiple engineering and support roles at companies like Plusnet and Pipe Ten Hosting Ltd. Matthew holds a foundation degree in Computer and Information Security from Sheffield Hallam University (2010-2013).
