Cosmin Mitran

Cosmin Mitran is an experienced engineering manager currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at both Flutter Entertainment Plc and Betfair Romania Development since March 2024. With a strong background in software engineering management, Cosmin previously held the role of Senior Software Engineering Manager at OpenText and Micro Focus. Prior to that, Cosmin worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and led a Java team at Small Footprint, Inc. Cosmin’s career began at Hewlett-Packard, where various roles included OO Content Development R&D Manager and team leader. Cosmin holds a Master's degree in Image Processing from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, along with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from ETH Zürich and an engineering degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca.
