Cristina Gutiu

Cristina Gutiu is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Head of Platform Engineering for Payments and Safety at Flutter Entertainment Plc since May 2022. Prior to this role, Cristina held various leadership positions at Paddy Power Betfair from February 2015 to October 2022, including Head of Product Engineering for Payments, Safety, and DevOps as well as Senior Delivery Manager positions focused on DevOps, Digital Marketing, and Tech Services. Cristina's career began at Betfair from August 2008 to February 2015, where responsibilities included management of customer funds, regulatory compliance, and identity management. Earlier experience includes roles in software development and teaching IT at Tiberiu Popoviciu High School. Cristina holds an MA and Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and is a PhD student in Distributed Systems from Babes-Bolyai University.
