Emma McMahon

Emma McMahon currently serves as Group Director of Privacy & Responsible AI and Group Head of Privacy & DPO at Flutter Entertainment since November 2020. Prior to this role, Emma held positions at Paddy Power Betfair from November 2016 to November 2020 as Head of Data Protection & Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel, where responsibilities included providing strategic legal advice, drafting contracts, and advising on data privacy and employment law matters. Earlier experience includes serving as a Commercial Lawyer at Bord Gáis Energy from April 2012 to October 2016, supporting various departments with data protection and consumer law advice. Emma's educational background includes qualifications as a solicitor in England & Wales and certificates in commercial contracts and trade marks, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Law and a postgraduate LLB from University of Galway.
