Helen Sparke

Helen Sparke currently serves as the Chief People Officer for Group Functions at Flutter Entertainment Plc since November 2023. Prior to this, Helen held several positions at Pearson from November 2014 to July 2023, including Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the Higher Education commercial division and all Corporate Functions, where responsibilities encompassed People Strategy management and talent retention. Additional roles at Pearson included VP HR Business Partner for the Global Product Corporate Division and VP HR Operations overseeing HR Shared Services in Manila and Krakow. Before joining Pearson, Helen worked at Deloitte from June 2006 to November 2014, managing various client projects in strategic HR consulting, and earlier as an Employment Tax Advisor focusing on compliance and reporting. Helen's educational background includes a Professional Qualification in Taxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation and a BA in Geography from the University of Leicester.
