Joanne Thornton

Joanne Thornton is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in the gaming and banking sectors. Currently serving as Marketing Director for Sky Gaming at Flutter Entertainment, Joanne leads the establishment of the marketing team in Gibraltar and focuses on long-term strategy and short-term growth. Previously, as Director of Media Strategy and Planning for Sportsbook and Gaming at Sky Bet, Joanne contributed to marketing strategy and strategic planning for growth. In a prior role at HSBC, Joanne was Head of Brand & Acquisition for first direct, overseeing external advertising and CRM communications, and aligning marketing activities with business strategies. Joanne holds a Professional Certificate in Management and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Studies from The Open University.
